The club's annual tour
of Sussex has a special theme this year. it is Mike Pink's first tour
and probably his last as it is his Stag tour. We also have a new fixture
on the Wednesday replacing East Grinstead with Billingshurst. Make

In addition to the main Club afternoon fixtures below, we are hoping
to arrange one or two Youth Matches during the mornings of the following

Mon 13th August - Chawton CC
Tues 14th August - Paragon XI
Wed 15th August - Roger Buxton’s Reunion XI
Thurs 16th August - Roffey CC
Fri 17th August - Chairman’s XI
NB on Wed 15th August there will a Club President, Life Members, VPs
lunch also open to Roger’s team and his guests, our friends
at the OSA, plus other friends and associates of the club. The cost
of the lunch will be just £10 (3 courses) and you will be able
to buy wine and drinks at the bar from midday. Places may well be
limited this year, so if you want to reserve a place please contact

comedy
night "take 2", 21st september
After the success of last years 'Night of Comedy' in September, Maff
Brown( Guy from Lost!) and friends have been booked to host a similar
evening on the Friday 21st September 2007 at the clubhouse, Tickets
will be available from the start of August at a cost of £10
each. We are expecting the demand for tickets to be high after hosting
a comedy night at the football club last February which also went
down a storm, so if you wish to make any advanced reservations please

a night at the dogs, 3rd october
The Governing Body of Greyhounds
are launching a National promotion to help raise £750,000 for
grass roots sports clubs. Greyhound Sporting Leagues will provide
us with at least 100 tickets that the club will sell to members, family,
friends etc at £5 a ticket (All profits stay with the club).
The night OSSCC will be taking part is on Wednesday 3rd October at
Romford Dogs Stadium, more details will follow, if you wish to make

annual dinner & dance, 3rd november
In view of the sell out last year we have booked a new, larger venue
for 2007, the Cliffs Pavilion, Maritime Rooms 7.00 for 7.30pm. More
details will follow during the season.
